Cherry Chip Scones
CHERRY CHIP SCONES Preheat oven to 400. Combine first four ingredients in a large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Combine yogurt and milk, stir into crumb mixture until moistened. Knead in cherries and chips. On a greased baking sheet, pat dough into a 9-inch circle. Cut into wedges, separate wedges. Brush with milk. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Variations: Recipe from Manda Hart Posted on August 1, 2003
